Chudleigh’s kids have a lot to look forward to during this year’s Chudfest. There are several events aimed specifically at the younger residents of the town – and they are all free to enter.
Youth Centre Event, Friday 3rd July
As always, the festival kicks off on the Friday evening with an event organised by the Youth Centre. This year, they’re relocating from the marquee to the new skate park and the fun kicks off at 6 pm. Details are still being finalised, but it is hoped there will be live music.
Great Chudleigh Bake Off, Sunday 5th July
In addition to being able to buy cakes and other refreshments, there are a number of children’s activities at this free event. See the Bake Off page or go to Facebook
Hawking, Tuesday 7th July
Years 4 and 5 from Chudleigh Primary School will be treated to a display of birds of prey between 1.30 pm and 3.30 pm on the play park or in the marquee, depending on the weather.
Writing Workshop, Thursday 9th July
Years 1 to 3 from Chudleigh Primary School will be working in the school with author and illustrator Sally Rich to develop their creativity.
Storybook Party, Thursday 9th July
A party for all pre-school children and their parents/carers, between 1 pm and 3 pm in the marquee. Featuring children’s entertainer and magician, Billy Wiz. Find out more about this event by clicking here.
Messy Church, Thursday 9th July
Clowning fun with a Christian message: an event for all ages with the award-winning Roly Bain. From 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm in the marquee. Find out more about this event by clicking here.
Chudleigh Kids Talent Show, Friday 10th July
