The Monday night quiz is one of the most popular and well-attended events of Chudfest. We have around 20 teams pitting their wits against the questions set by Michael ‘The Teach’ McCormick. Some questions are easy; some are less so. There are a range of topics: history, sport, general knowledge etc, so everyone can usually find at least one topic they are good at. Once again this year, we will have a couple of specialist music rounds from Steve ‘The Music Master’ Cox.
The cost of entering the quiz is just £1, and you pay on the door; there’s no tickets to buy in advance, or tables to book. You just turn up on the night and get stuck in. Many people arrive with ready made teams (4 to 6 is an ideal number); but others just come along and take pot luck.
For anyone who’s feeling peckish, there’s the option of a cheese and pickle supper for £4. And, of course, the bar will be open all evening to help lubricate the ‘little grey cells’ as Poirot used to call them.
The Chudfest quiz will be held on Monday 6th July; you can find full details by clicking here.
