As we get closer to the start of the Summer Festival, details are being finalised all the time. So this is probably a good time to highlight some of the recent updates to the website.
Where are we?
It’s been pointed out that we don’t make the location of our events obvious on the website. We all know where everything takes place, don’t we? Well. actually, no, we don’t. There are an increasing number of people from outside Chudleigh who are interested in the events, but have no idea where the Box Office or the Marquee will be found. So we have updated the Box Office and Summer Festival pages to make the locations clear.
Can’t Get To The Box Office?
At the moment, we are too small to run a full, online booking service. But we need to provide a way for people who can’t get into town on a Thursday or a Saturday to be able to buy tickets. We investigating options such as PayPal, and will post an update on that as soon as possible. But in the meantime, email us: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make arrangements for ticket reservation and payment.
The Stig’s Gone To America
We announced the change to the Literary Evening speaker line-up, but didn’t make it clear: Ben Collins aka The Stig will be in America during Chudfest and therefore is no longer on the programme. His place is taken by best-selling crime-writer Damien Boyd.
In a change to the published programme for this weekend’s Open Gardens, and to the information on the tickets, the garden at Oakfield Coach House will be open on both Saturday and Sunday.
